MONOLOGUE: NEW!
Exciting news!! A welcome addition of a monologue component for this years' MT auditions!
ESA's Music Theatre Department is a Triple Threat Program: Singing/Dancing/Acting.
Learning a monologue with a director is essential in guiding you towards understanding a character development.
You will delve into a deeper perspective & understanding of the arch of your character from your chosen monologue (from ESA's website). You will discover fresh new ways to tell the story. With only four monologues online at ESA, we will help our students stand out with their monologue submissions.
2020/21. ESA's Music Theatre Department also requires a monologue submission
ESA:
Monologue Selections: Please prepare one of the monologues from ESA's curated list in the attachment below. You are required to fully memorize the monologue and perform it with appropriate facial expression, body language and vocal tone, suitable to the character. We have provided the character description for each monologue to act as your guide. We encourage you to bring yourself to the work and make your own version of the character.
